I wanted the front door of my site to feel like a place you depart from: a hub that sends you somewhere, rather than a wall of cards. So the homepage is a split-flap departure board: pick a destination and it flips to Boarding while the rest go Delayed, then takes you there.
The pieces
- A pull-cord lamp toggles light and dark and remembers your choice.
- A side rail that stays out of the way until you hover it.
- Everything is data-driven, so adding a project or an entry is one small edit.
Why minimal
The goal was a site that reads as made, not generated: light, warm and quiet, with one confident accent. Less chrome, more room to breathe.
More entries to come as the work grows.
